PLAY SPACE concept? What exactly is it? Here's a quick summary:

What is the goal? Werder wants to enable as many children and young people as possible to have a sporting career, inspire them with enthusiasm for SVW and sports in general, and positively impact society through sport. A key to this lies in the PLAY SPACE.

What is a PLAY SPACE? A PLAY SPACE refers to a social space. To reach children, physical proximity is essential. Together with network partners, Werder is working to provide children and young people with access to sports. In each PLAY SPACE, daycare centers, primary and secondary schools, social service providers, and sports clubs form a network. Werder has defined a total of twenty PLAY SPACES in Bremen and Lower Saxony.

What happens in the PLAY SPACE? Here, children and young people with and without disabilities and/or refugee experience have access to sports, for example, through weekly exercise programs or regular events. 365 days a year. Furthermore, Werder, together with its network partners, trains and qualifies young people to take on responsibility and enable new generations to participate in sports. Professional and youth players from SVW are also involved.
